Halo eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Iraq

Halo eSIM does not provide a true unlimited‑data plan for Iraq. The plans that use “Unlimited” in the name actually allow 3 GB of high‑speed data each day; after that the speed drops to 1000 kbps for the remainder of the day.

Instead, Halo eSIM offers fixed‑data options such as a 20 GB bundle for 30 days or a 10 GB bundle for 30 days. These plans give a set amount of data to use within the specified validity period. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be a more cost‑effective choice unless a traveler needs constantly unlimited high‑speed data.

Halo eSIM does not provide an eSIM plan for Iraq that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are sold for that destination. Travelers can still use the data connection to access VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and messaging, but some of these apps may be blocked or restricted in Iraq, so it is advisable to verify their availability before purchasing a plan.

Halo eSIM offers a total of ten single‑country plans and four multi‑country plans for Iraq. These plans range from $3.95 to $190.33 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB, with validity periods spanning from 3 to 30 days. The available plans include five daily data cap options that reset each day, as well as nine fixed data cap options that keep the data amount constant throughout the validity period.
