LimitSIM eSIM Data Plans for Iraq

No, LimitSIM does not provide a genuinely unlimited data eSIM for Iraq. The plans labeled “unlim” are subject to a Fair‑Usage Policy that caps total usage at 45 GB for the 15‑day plan and 30 GB for the 7‑day plan, even though the Data cap column shows 40 GB and 25 GB respectively. Travelers who need a large data allowance can instead choose from the provider’s fixed data plans, such as the 40 GB plan valid for 15 days or the 30 GB plan valid for 30 days, which may be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data user.

LimitSIM does not provide an Iraq eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Iraq plans are data‑only, so travelers will not receive inbound or outbound voice or text services.

For communication, travelers can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which work over the data connection set up by LimitSIM. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the required apps are reachable in Iraq before purchasing a plan.

LimitSIM offers 14 single‑country plans and 5 multi‑country plans for Iraq. The available options span prices from roughly $1.69 to $85.40 and data caps ranging from 500 MB to 40 GB, with validity periods between 1 and 30 days. Some plans feature a speed limit of 5000 kbps or a reduced speed of 512 kbps.
