nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Iraq

No. None of nextSIM’s Iraq eSIM plans provide truly unlimited high‑speed data. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their names still list a specific data cap—either 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day—and include a reduced speed once that amount is used.

nextSIM does offer sizable fixed data plans that can be useful for regular travelers. For example, the eSIM GLOBAL 50GB 30Days Premium plan supplies 50 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the eSIM Pro Iraq 20GB 30Days plan offers 20 GB of data for the same period. If a larger daily allowance is preferred, the Iraq “Unlimited” series gives either 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day before the speed is throttled, but it remains a fixed‑data schedule rather than an unlimited option.

nextSIM does not provide Iraq eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for the country, so travelers will not receive inbound or outbound voice or text services.

While a phone number is not included, users can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages if those services are accessible in Iraq. Reachability of specific apps may vary, so travelers should verify the availability of the apps they intend to use before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM offers 44 single‑country data plans for Iraq and 38 multi‑country plans that include Iraq. The available plans range in price from about $4.59 to $1, 261.66 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 50 GB. Out of the full catalogue, 12 plans feature daily data caps that reset each day, while the remaining 70 plans are fixed‑data‑amount plans that give a set amount of data for the entire validity period.
