Tourist eSIM does not provide a true unlimited data plan for Israel. All plans labeled “Unlimited” have a defined data cap—such as 2GB per day or 3GB per day for a 10‑day period—and after the limit is reached the speed drops to a throttled level (for example, 2000 kbps or 1000 kbps).

If an unlimited high‑speed experience is required, a fixed‑data plan may be more suitable. Plans such as the 100 GB for 31 days plan or the 80 GB for 365 days plan are available for use in Israel and provide reliable data without the speed reduction dictated by an unlimited‑named plan.

Tourist eSIM does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for Israel; only data‑only eSIM plans are available for that destination. Because the plans lack inbound and outbound voice or text service, travelers cannot receive or send SMS or place traditional phone calls through the eSIM. However, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage will work over the data connection, allowing users to make voice or video calls and send messages without a local phone number.
