Il problema che ho riscontrato è che era costantemente limitata a velocità 3G. Anche in quel caso, sebbene il segnale cellulare fosse al massimo, le pagine web impiegavano un'eternità a caricarsi o talvolta non si caricavano affatto.

Ho contattato il loro team di supporto, ma sembra che il servizio sia limitato perché si tratta di una eSIM. Mia madre ha acquistato una SIM fisica dallo stesso operatore locale che ho usato io (Digicel) e ha ottenuto un'offerta molto migliore (165 GB) con velocità LTE rapide a circa lo stesso prezzo che ho pagato io per 5 GB a velocità 3G.

Capisco che l'infrastruttura qui sia limitata e che le eSIM possano essere una tecnologia più recente che richiede tempo per svilupparsi; ma avrei apprezzato un avviso al momento dell'acquisto dell'eSIM, in modo da sapere almeno che avrei ottenuto solo velocità 3G.

Il mio consiglio: se puoi aspettare di acquistare una eSIM in aeroporto quando arrivi, fallo. Hanno pacchetti dati molto migliori per i turisti.

hanno provato a farmi usare il loro portale che voleva che accettassi i cookie senza informazioni su di essi, un vero no no.

La SIM fornita per il Regno Unito non era come pubblicizzata, connessa a EE non a O2.
