As the other reviewer mentioned setup was a bit tedious with having to manually configure a connection on android. but it worked perfectly as soon as I landed in Japan. 50GB for โฌ22 was a great deal for my 3 weeks Japan.
Hotspot worked also and I had good data connection all around Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Just to make others aware. attached is a sample of the setup process that has to be followed, it seems daunting at first but it was easy enough to setup.
Very good experience. I had a consistent connection during all my stay. The speed was good, and the latency was low thanks to the internet breakouts being in Japan.
