Gigapanda eSIM Data Plans for Macau

Gigapanda does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Macau. All of the plans available for Macau are fixed‑data packages: the highest‑capacity options give 50 GB, 30 GB, or 20 GB of high‑speed data over 30 days. After the high‑speed allowance is reached each plan drops to a reduced speed (128 kbps for the Macao‑branded packages) rather than remaining unlimited. There are also “Unlimited”‑named plans that actually provide 3 GB of fast data per day for a set number of days, after which the speed is throttled to 384 kbps. For travelers seeking more data, the 50 GB/30 days plan is the largest fixed option, while the 30 GB/30 days and 20 GB/30 days plans offer smaller but still substantial high‑speed allowances.

Gigapanda does not offer any eSIM plans for Macau that include a phone number or SMS functionality. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from this provider for the destination. The typical workaround for voice and text communication is to use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, it is advisable to check whether these services are fully accessible in Macau, as some destinations may block or limit specific apps or VoIP services.

For travelers heading to Macau, Gigapanda lists 12 single‑country data plans and an equal number of multi‑country options that can be activated over the Macau network. These plans span a price range of roughly $6.90 to $59.90 and offer data allowances from 3 GB to 50 GB. Some of the offerings are fixed‑size plans that provide a set amount of data for the validity period, while others are daily‑cap plans that reset each day, giving a more flexible consumption pattern.
