Truly awful 3G speed on strong 5G towers in Amsterdam. I have excellent signal strength on my device, yet somehow my 300GB Europe eSIM from Airhub consistently produces 3Mpbs down and up. This strongly suggests rate limiting. Over several days it's like this with the only advice from Airhub support to restart the device, which does nothing.
I paid for e esim but never got it. It looks like a scam. No support possible.
I bought 10 days unlimited for 30USD. After 1.5 day - no internet.
I sent the message to Support via my e-mail - no reply.
I tried to send the message to Support - via Airhubapp website - but the forms constructed in such way it cannot be submitted. (When I push submit button - nothing happened). After 10 attempts to contact to Support - I gave up.
Airhub does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Netherlands. All available plans list a specific data cap. For instance, the “Europe 60GB 5G Data with Unlimited Talk and Text 30 Days” plan offers 60GB of high‑speed data, the “Netherlands 100 GB data with calls 30 Days” plan offers 100GB, and the “Europe 300GB 5G Internet Data 30 Days” plan offers 300GB.
A plan that includes “Unlimited” in its name still has a fixed data allowance; after the cap is reached the speed may be reduced, but this is not the same as an unlimited plan. Selecting a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless a user requires continuous high‑speed data without any limit.
Airhub does not provide Netherlands eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for travelers in the Netherlands. Travelers who need to make calls or send text messages can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection.
Airhub offers 10 single‑country plans and 22 multi‑country plans that include the Netherlands. The available plans vary from $1 to $46 and provide between 200 MB and 300 GB of data, with validity periods ranging from three to thirty days. Most of the plans are fixed data‑only offerings, with no daily‑cap variations listed.
