The esim worked great. It provided great connectivity where ever we went and great speeds too. The esim worked as soon as the flight landed and gave no problems throughout the trip.

10gb sim used across Europe. Worked great for 10 days, then suddenly the speed just dropped to 40kbps despite still showing 5G.
Customer service non-existant. No response to live chat or useful info online so had to buy another sim from jetpac.

Unlimited tariff downloading speed is extreemly low! description say speed 4G/5G without trottling but after 30 gigabites i have only 1,72 mbits/s
support answer - that its norm speed ! you cnt download nothing with that! its waste of money and time(((

Airhub is a scam! DO NOT use it! It does not work at all in Belgium. I couldn't get the signal at all!

Totally not recommended!
I fell victim to a scam by Global Yo in October 2024, came here warn others not to make the same mistake. They market the data as "limitless".But it's only 1GB a day that has a decent speed after that drops to about 0.15 Mb/S. Look for the little 'i' when reading the brochure.
Thanks esimdb for recommending it to me!

Pretty good experience overall, the internet breakouts mentioned in their data plan are accurate. One issue I encountered was when switching between network it takes a minutes to few minutes to get a connection back.
There are roughly 110 travel eSIM providers and more than 5 800 prepaid data plans available for Belgium. The extensive selection means that travelers will find a wide variety of options, making it easy to choose an eSIM that fits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM options are available for Belgium from several providers. Most of these plans are “unlimited” in data allowance but may come with speed throttling; for example, Firsty limits speed to 256 kbps, while abesteSIM and Yoho Mobile cap it at 5 Mbps, and the remaining offerings note potential throttling without specifying a limit. Prices for the unlimited plans range from free on Firsty to about $27.40 USD on Yoho Mobile, giving travelers a price band of roughly $0 to $27.40 USD for an unlimited data eSIM in Belgium.
Proximus: "Belgium's largest telecommunications company, offering extensive mobile coverage and services."
Orange Belgium: "A major operator providing comprehensive mobile services and coverage across the country."
BASE: "A significant mobile network operator known for its competitive services and nationwide coverage."
In addition to these major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Belgium hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). MVNOs offer mobile services by leasing access from major carriers. Notable local MVNOs include Mobile Vikings and Telenet. However, it's important to note that most travel eSIMs rely on MNO infrastructure, not MVNOs.
Yes, travel eSIM plans that include a phone number and SMS are available for Belgium, and several providers offer them. GlobaleSIM, Airalo, Roamify, SimOptions and MoreMins all provide such plans. Airalo’s Belganet+ line, for example, offers 5‑GB and 10‑GB packages with a Belgian phone number (dialing code +32) that supports inbound and outbound voice and SMS, and the price ranges from about $12 to $29, with validity periods of 30 days and data up to 100 GB. Roamify and SimOptions also supply Belgian numbers with local dialing code +32 or, for larger coverage, overseas codes such as +33 (France) and +1 (USA), all of which support inbound and outbound voice and SMS and typically come in daily to monthly validity options.
Where the dialing code does not match Belgium’s +32, the plan uses a foreign number that still provides inbound/outbound calling and texting, but the number is not local to Belgium. These foreign‑dial‑code plans can be useful if you need an international roaming number while in Belgium. Travelers who prefer only data can still use other eSIMs that provide data access without a local or foreign phone number, and can make calls or send text messages through VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection.
