CocoRoam eSIM Data Plans for Puerto Rico

CocoRoam does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Puerto Rico. All available plans have a specific data cap, with the largest being 100GB for 30 days.

If unlimited access is required, travelers may consider one of CocoRoam’s fixed‑data options. For example, the 100GB 30d plan costs $90.50 USD, while the 50GB 30d plan costs $49.90 USD. These plans offer a large data allowance and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless a very heavy data consumer needs an unlimited amount.

CocoRoam does not offer a Puerto Rico eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who purchase a CocoRoam plan for Puerto Rico will receive only a data‑only eSIM that provides internet access.

It is possible to use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations can restrict access to these services, so users should check that the apps they rely on are available in Puerto Rico before buying a plan.

CocoRoam offers a total of 31 single‑country data plans specifically for Puerto Rico, with no multi‑country plans available in that region. These plans range from $3.00 to $90.50 USD and provide between 1 GB and 100 GB of data. The catalog includes 14 daily data‑cap options that reset each day and 17 fixed data‑cap options that deliver a set amount of data for the plan’s entire validity period, which can last from 1 to 90 days. If you need tethering, reduced speed options (512 kbit/s or 2000 kbit/s) may also apply to some of the offerings.
