nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Puerto Rico

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Puerto Rico. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data—either 1GB per day or 2GB per day—and once that daily limit is reached the speed is reduced to 512kbps or 2000kbps. Therefore, these plans are not unlimited in the sense of offering unlimited high‑speed data.

Travelers who need a larger data allowance can choose from nextSIM’s fixed data plans, such as the 100GB 30 days plan or the 50GB 30 days plan, which provide high‑speed data for the entire validity period. These options may be more cost‑effective for most users unless they are extremely heavy data consumers.

nextSIM does not provide an eSIM for Puerto Rico that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for that destination. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Puerto Rico prior to purchase, as some destinations may restrict or block certain apps.

nextSIM offers 56 single‑country data plans that cover Puerto Rico exclusively and 26 multi‑country plans that include Puerto Rico along with other destinations. The available plans range in price from about $3.06 for entry‑level options up to $1 275.30 for high‑capacity offerings, and data caps vary from 1 GB to 100 GB. Some plans provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others impose a daily data cap, giving users flexibility depending on their usage pattern.
