RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for Puerto Rico

RoamGo does not offer a true unlimited eSIM plan for Puerto Rico. The plans listed under the “Global Unlimited” name provide a daily high‑speed allowance—either 1 GB/day or 2 GB/day—after which data continues at a reduced speed of 384 kbps until the next midnight reset. Because the speed throttles after the stated daily limit, these are not unlimited data plans.

Instead, RoamGo offers fixed data plans that grant high‑speed data for a set period. For example, a 20 GB plan is available for 30 days, and a 10 GB plan is also available for 30 days. These plans deliver consistent, unrestricted high‑speed performance within the specified data allowance and validity period.

RoamGo does not offer a Puerto Rico eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can purchase a data‑only plan from RoamGo and use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and text communication, but some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to verify the availability of the apps you rely on before buying.

RoamGo offers 3 single‑country plans and 87 multi‑country plans for Puerto Rico. The plans are divided into two main types: daily data‑cap packages, where the data allowance resets every day, and fixed data‑cap packages, which give a set amount of data that lasts for the entire validity period of the plan. Prices for the available options range from about $4.14 to $1, 800 USD, with data limits spanning from 500 MB up to 20 GB. Tethering is permitted on many plans, and some plans feature reduced speeds at 512 kbit/s, 384 kbit/s, or 1000 kbit/s.
