ZenSim eSIM Data Plans for Puerto Rico

ZenSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Puerto Rico. The plans that have “Unlimited” in their names give a fixed allowance of 3GB per day with speed reduced to 1000 kbps after the limit is reached, so they are not unlimited in the sense of unlimited high‑speed data.

Instead, ZenSim offers fixed data plans for Puerto Rico, such as a 20GB package valid for 15 or 30 days, or a larger 40GB package valid for 90 days. These fixed‑data plans provide a clear amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective for most travelers compared with the limited‑speed “Unlimited” options.

ZenSim currently does not offer an eSIM for Puerto Rico that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only plans available for Puerto Rico from this provider are data‑only eSIMs. Travelers who need phone or message services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but because some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, it is advisable to confirm that these services are accessible in Puerto Rico before purchasing a plan.

The provider lists 10 single country plans and 25 multi country plans for Puerto Rico. These plans cover a price range of about $7 to $119 and data caps from 1 GB up to 40 GB. They include a mix of daily data cap options, with three plans that reset each day, and fixed data options numbering 32. Tethering is permitted on many of these plans, while a reduced speed of 1 Gbps applies on certain selections.
