Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Puerto Rico

Zwitchy does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Puerto Rico. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 1 GB of high‑speed data per day and, once that daily limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.

Travelers who need a larger, unthrottled data allowance can choose one of Zwitchy’s fixed data plans, such as the Puerto Rico · 50 GB · 30 days plan for $88.50 USD or the Puerto Rico · 30 GB · 30 days plan for $55.50 USD. These plans provide a set amount of data for 30 days without a speed reduction, making them a more cost‑effective option for most users unless they require very high data usage.

Zwitchy does not offer any eSIM plan for Puerto Rico that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need voice or text services should use internet‑based applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, and should verify that these apps are accessible in Puerto Rico before purchasing a plan.

Zwitchy provides a range of data plans for Puerto Rico, including single‑country options and multi‑country packages that include the island. The catalogue lists 15 single‑country plans that cover Puerto Rico alone and 24 multi‑country plans that bundle Puerto Rico with other destinations. Across these plans, prices vary from about $3.50 for the most basic 1 GB option to $130.50 for the largest 50 GB allotment, and validity can be chosen anywhere between 3 and 30 days. Some plans feature a fixed data cap, while others offer a daily data cap, allowing travelers to choose between a total data allocation or a set amount of data each day. The plans also support tethering and come with a reduced speed threshold of 1000.
