Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Asia. The plans branded “Asialink – Unlimited” give 3 GB of high‑speed data each day, and after that amount the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps.

If a larger data allowance is needed, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans such as the Asialink – 100 GB plan valid for 180 days or the Asialink – 50 GB plans valid for 30 or 90 days. These can be more cost‑effective for travelers who use a substantial amount of data.

Airalo does not provide Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The only options available for Asia from this provider are data‑only eSIMs. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and text messages.

Airalo’s eSIM plans that cover Asian destinations include the Asialink plan, which is available for Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, Laos, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam; the Discover plan, which adds United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan to that list; and the Discover+ plan, which covers the same set of countries as Discover. These plans therefore provide coverage in the 27 Asian countries listed above.
