Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Airalo’s Asia eSIM offerings do not include a truly unlimited high‑speed plan. The plans labelled “Unlimited” provide a cap of 3 GB per day; once that daily limit is reached, the connection speed is throttled to 1000 kbps.
If a traveler wants a larger data allocation, Airalo offers fixed‑data alternatives for the region. For example, there is a 100 GB plan that remains valid for 180 days, a 50 GB plan available for 30 or 90 days, and a 20 GB plan valid for 15 or 30 days. These fixed data plans can be more economical unless the user requires a high‑volume, truly unlimited data experience.

Airalo does not provide Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The only options available for Asia from this provider are data‑only eSIMs. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and text messages.
