MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

MTX Connect does not provide unlimited data eSIM plans for the Balkans.
Instead, the provider offers fixed‑data plans such as the 10 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 4 GB 14‑day plan. These options can be more cost‑effective for travelers who need a substantial amount of data but are not extremely heavy data users. Each plan covers Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and over 130 additional countries.

MTX Connect does not provide a Balkans eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of the plans available from MTX Connect for travel in the Balkans are data‑only, so users do not receive an assigned phone number and cannot use standard SMS. For voice and text communications travelers can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection without the need for a separate phone number or SMS service.

MTX Connect’s offer in the Balkans is delivered through its OPTIMAL DAILY plan, which provides coverage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. The same plan also extends service to many other regions, but for the Balkans those six countries are the only ones included.
