MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

The answer is no – MTX Connect does not offer an unlimited data eSIM for the Balkans.
Instead, travelers can choose from fixed–data plans such as the 10GB plan, which is valid for 30 days and costs $34.62 USD, or the 4GB plan, which is valid for 14 days and costs $17.31 USD. Both plans provide coverage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, with additional worldwide coverage in more than 130 countries.

MTX Connect does not provide a Balkans eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of the plans available from MTX Connect for travel in the Balkans are data‑only, so users do not receive an assigned phone number and cannot use standard SMS. For voice and text communications travelers can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection without the need for a separate phone number or SMS service.

MTX Connect’s offer in the Balkans is delivered through its OPTIMAL DAILY plan, which provides coverage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
