Maya Mobile does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Caribbean. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 5GB per day of high‑speed data; once that daily quota is reached the speed drops to 3000kbps. These are fixed data plans with validity periods of 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.

Travelers who need a large amount of data can choose one of these fixed plans, such as the 30‑day plan that offers 5GB/day for 30 days or the 14‑day plan that offers 5GB/day for 14 days. These options provide a substantial amount of high‑speed data and may be more cost‑effective for most users, but they are not unlimited.

Maya Mobile does not provide a Caribbean eSIM that includes a local phone number or the ability to send and receive SMS. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for Caribbean destinations. Travelers who need voice or text messaging can generally use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection; however, some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to verify their availability before purchasing.
