nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Central America. Plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually include a fixed data cap, such as 1 GB or 2 GB, and after that limit the speed is throttled to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

For travelers who need larger amounts of data, nextSIM offers several fixed‑data plans that cover the same Central American countries. For example, the eSIM 20GB 30 Days Global plan supplies 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the eSIM GLOBAL 30GB 30Days Premium plan supplies 30 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days. These options are more cost‑effective unless a user requires an extremely heavy data load that exceeds the capped “unlimited” plans.

nextSIM does not offer eSIM plans for Central America that include a phone number or SMS capabilities. The provider only sells data‑only eSIMs in this region. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the data connection.

NextSIM’s eSIM offerings in Central America cover the five country‑level markets of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras.
