nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

nextSIM does not offer a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Central America. Plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in the name provide a fixed amount of high‑speed data – for example, the eSIM Unlimited Plus 1 Day Global includes 2GB of rapid data before the speed drops to 2000kbps, and the Unlimited Standard 5 Day plan offers 1GB per day before throttling to 512kbps. Because the data is capped, these plans are not equivalent to an unlimited offer.

Instead, nextSIM provides several large fixed data options that cover all of Central America. For instance, the eSIM GLOBAL 50GB 30Days Premium plan supplies 50GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the eSIM GLOBAL 30GB 30Days Premium offers 30GB for the same period. These fixed‑data plans give travelers a clear amount of data and may be more cost‑effective than the “unlimited”‑named options if the user is a heavy data consumer.

NextSIM does not provide a Central America eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only Central America plans available from nextSIM are data‑only eSIMs, so users will not receive inbound or outbound voice or text services.

Travelers can still communicate using popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which operate over the data connection and can be used for calls and messaging without the need for a local phone number or SMS functionality.

NextSIM offers several eSIM plans that cover countries in Central America. The eSIM South and Central America Premium plan and the eSIM GLOBAL Premium plan both provide coverage in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras. The eSIM Unlimited Standard Global, the eSIM Global and the eSIM Unlimited Plus Global plans cover Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama and Nicaragua, but do not include Honduras.
