Even at the Manas airport i already could NOT connect to the data/service. So i tried activating the esim in the Global Yo app (it is supposed to be automatically activated once I could connect but since I could not connect I thought I would need to activate it manually). Then I tried restarting my phone too but that didn’t work either.
It’s been a few hours and I’ve obviously left the airport now. Even within the city and town there is no service. Only managing to post this review using the guesthouse wifi.
Why sell a product that does not work, and customer service is not 24-7 available to help? I hope when Global Yo does reply I will be in a location that has wifi access to be able to read their reply.

Went to Khujand and Panjakent in Tajikistan, but couldn't get a connection.

Unlimited data eSIM plans are available for travelers in Central Asia from several providers. Yoho Mobile, abesteSIM, Yesim and Roamify each offer unlimited data options that last from one to thirty days. All of these plans allow tethering and specify that speed may be throttled, with Yoho Mobile setting a specific limit of 5 Mbps, while the others generally note potential throttling without a fixed speed cap. Pricing for these unlimited options ranges roughly from a low‑budget $3.29 per day to premium plans approaching $449.07, with most providers clustering between $5 and $15 per day. Travelers can choose a plan that fits their budget and data usage expectations, ensuring sufficient allowance for streaming, navigation, and other online activities during their visit.
When traveling in Central Asia you can obtain a travel eSIM that includes a phone number and SMS service. GlobaleSIM offers several plans, ranging from 1 GB to 5 GB of data for 7 to 21 days, with prices between $11.00 and $24.00. These plans provide an international number with dialing code +1, allow both inbound and outbound voice calls, and support inbound SMS only, meaning the number is not local to Central Asia but foreign.
