Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Latin America (LATAM)

Nomad does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Latin America (LATAM). The available options are fixed data plans that specify a hard data limit and a validity period. For example, Nomad provides a 50 GB plan that is valid for 365 days and a 20 GB plan that is valid for 30 days. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless they are extremely heavy data users who would prefer an unlimited offering.

Nomad does not provide any eSIM plans for Latin America (LATAM) that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs in that region. If calls and messages are required, most travelers use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in Latin America may block or restrict access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify availability of the apps you plan to use before buying a plan.

The Regional Latin America plan covers Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The Regional Global plan covers the same set of countries and adds Saint Barthélemy, the Dominican Republic, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Saint Martin, and Martinique. The Regional Global‑EX plan includes those destinations as well as Puerto Rico. All of the covered countries and territories are located within the Latin American region listed in the approved set.
