Saily eSIM Data Plans for South Asia

Saily does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM plan for South Asia. All of its plans for countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan are fixed‑data offerings. For example, the Global 30GB 30‑day and Global 30GB 90‑day plans give users 30GB of high‑speed data and then throttle speeds to 1 kbps after the limit is reached. Similar fixed‑data options are available, such as the 20GB 365‑day and 15GB 90‑day plans, which provide large data allowances but still impose a cap. If a traveler needs higher data usage, selecting one of these fixed plans is usually more cost‑effective than a plan that advertises “Unlimited” yet has a 30GB cap.

Saily does not provide a South Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.

The Saily “Global” plan offers service in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. In addition to these South Asian countries, the same Global plan extends coverage to other regions around the world, but those areas are outside the scope of the requested region.
