Saily eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

Saily does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. The plans listed with “UNLIMITED” in their titles provide a fixed amount of high‑speed data that is capped, after which the speed is throttled to a very low bitrate. For example, the Asia and Oceania UNLIMITED 5 days plan gives 5 GB per day for 5 days, and the Global UNLIMITED 30 days plan offers 30 GB for 30 days. Choosing one of these fixed‑data plans can be more cost‑effective unless a traveler is an extremely heavy data user.

Saily does not provide eSIM plans for Southeast Asia that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who purchase a Saily eSIM for Southeast Asia will receive only a data‑only connection. They can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data link for voice and messaging, but they should verify that these services are accessible in the specific destinations they plan to visit, as some countries may block or restrict certain apps.

Saily provides two plans that cover Southeast Asia: the Asia and Oceania plan and the Global plan; each of them includes Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The Global plan also reaches additional regions worldwide, but those territories lie outside the Southeast Asian scope and are not detailed here.
