AlpineSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Rwanda. All of the plans listed by AlpineSIM have a defined data cap, such as 1GB per day or 2GB per day, and the label “Unlimited” in the name only indicates that the plan is marketed as unlimited in name, not in data allowance.

Travelers who need more data can opt for one of the fixed‑data packages. For instance, the AlpineSIM Rwanda eSIM – 20GB plan gives 20GB for 30 days at $107.60 USD, and the 10GB plan offers 10GB for 30 days at $57.39 USD. These larger packages provide a substantial allowance and may be more economical for heavy data users than the daily capped options.

AlpineSIM does not provide a Rwanda eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available from AlpineSIM for Rwanda. Travelers who need voice and messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection instead.
