Ohayu eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

Ohayu does not currently provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Rwanda. Travelers can choose from several fixed‑data options instead, such as the Rwanda 20GB plan valid for 30 days at $103.99 USD, the Rwanda 10GB plan valid for 30 days at $55.49 USD, or the Rwanda 5GB plan also valid for 30 days at $31.49 USD. These fixed‑data plans allow tethering and cover the entire country. Selecting a fixed‑data plan can be more cost effective for most users unless they are very heavy data consumers who would otherwise require unlimited data.

Ohayu does not provide a Rwanda eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The eSIMs available from Ohayu in Rwanda are purely data‑only plans, without inbound or outbound voice or text services.

Travelers can still communicate using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, which allows calls and messaging without needing a local phone number or SMS support.

Ohayu offers five single‑country data plans for Rwanda, with no multi‑country options available. The plans range from a minimum price of $0.49 to a maximum of $103.99 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB, valid for 1 to 30 days. Some plans also allow tethering, but new customers only.
