Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

Nomad does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Rwanda. Instead, the provider offers fixed‑data packages, such as a 20GB plan for $45.00 USD and a 10GB plan for $35.00 USD, all valid for 30 days with tethering allowed. For travelers who need larger data allowances or more flexibility, choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective unless they anticipate extremely heavy data usage.

Nomad does not offer an eSIM for Rwanda that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from the provider; voice calls and text messaging are not supported with a local mobile number. Popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without requiring a traditional phone number.
