Saily eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Rwanda. The plans that carry the “UNLIMITED” name actually include a 30 GB high‑speed data allowance; once that amount is used the speed is throttled (for example to 1000 kbps after 30 GB).

Travelers who need data in Rwanda can choose from Saily’s fixed data plans. Examples include a 30 GB plan valid for 90 days, a 20 GB plan valid for 365 days, and a 15 GB plan valid for 90 days. These plans offer a set amount of high‑speed data and may be more cost‑effective for most users.

Saily does not provide eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for Rwanda. Travellers who purchase a Saily eSIM for Rwanda will receive only a data allowance with no built‑in voice or text services. However, data connectivity can be used with VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which are commonly used for voice and text communication. It is advisable to double‑check that these services are accessible in Rwanda before planning to rely on them, as some destinations may restrict or block particular VoIP applications.

Saily offers 4 single‑country data plans for Rwanda and 12 multi‑country plans that include Rwanda. The available plans range in price from $6.99 to $159.99 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 30 GB, with some plans offering reduced speed options for certain services.
