Stixrs eSIM Data Plans for Rwanda

Stixrs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Rwanda. The plans that use “Unlimited” in the name actually offer a restricted amount of high‑speed data—1 GB for one day or 2 GB for one day—before the network throttles the speed. For travelers who need more capacity, Stixrs offers fixed‑data plans, such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan or the 10 GB for 30 days plan, which give a larger data allowance at a stable speed. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective for most users, while the “Unlimited” options are suitable only for short‑term, light‑usage needs.

Stixrs does not offer an eSIM in Rwanda that includes a mobile phone number or the ability to send and receive SMS. Only data‑only plans are available for travelers who use the service there.

Because there is no native telephony service, customers rely on internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to stay in touch. These apps can generally be used over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict specific VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they need will work in Rwanda before purchasing a plan.
