Globie eSIM Data Plans for Spain

Globie does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Spain. The plans named “Spain Unlimited for …” restrict users to 3GB of high‑speed data each day and then throttle speed to 1000kbps once that limit is reached.

Travelers looking for larger data allowances can choose from Globie’s fixed data plans. Examples are the 20GB for 30 days plan, priced at $18.49 USD, and the 50GB for 30 days plan, priced at $33.49 USD, both of which deliver high‑speed data without the daily limit.

Globie does not provide eSIM plans for Spain that include a phone number or SMS capabilities. Available plans are data‑only, so travelers will not be able to receive or make regular phone calls or SMS using a local number.

While a phone number and SMS are unavailable, travelers can still use data‑based VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the desired services work in Spain before purchasing an eSIM.

Globie lists 12 single‑country data plans that cover Spain and 16 multi‑country plans that include Spain in their coverage. The plans span a price range from about $3.49 to $95.99, a data cap range from 1 GB to 50 GB, and validity periods between 5 and 30 days. Fixed‑data plans provide a set amount of data for the entire period, while daily‑cap plans allocate a daily data allowance that can be accumulated up to the overall cap, giving travellers flexibility whether they need a dedicated Spanish plan or a broader multi‑country option.
