SparkRoam eSIM Data Plans for Spain

Yes, SparkRoam offers unlimited data eSIM plans for Spain. The plans come in fixed validity periods ranging from 3 days to 90 days and are priced between about $6.22 USD for the 3‑day option and $178.25 USD for the 90‑day option. They operate on 5G networks and advertise a maximum speed of 10 Mbps (10, 000 kbps). The plans also permit tethering.

Because the plans are unlimited, a Fair Use Policy applies: speeds may be throttled after heavy usage. Coverage is specifically for Spain, although the same network is available to another 32 European countries. Travelers who are concerned about potential speed restrictions should contact SparkRoam to confirm how the Fair Use Policy is applied and what data amounts remain at normal speed.

SparkRoam does not offer an eSIM plan for Spain that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All SparkRoam eSIM offerings for Spain are data‑only plans.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are available in Spain before purchasing an eSIM.

SparkRoam offers 8 single‑country plans and 34 multi‑country plans that include Spain. The plans range in price from $1.34 to $178.25 and data allowances from 1 GB to unlimited. Single‑country plans provide a fixed data amount for use only within one country, while multi‑country plans allow the same data to be used across several selected countries; some of these plans have a daily data cap, others provide a fixed total amount. Many plans permit tethering and may feature speed throttling after a specified threshold.
