Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Switzerland

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Switzerland. The plans that carry the name “UNLIMITED” give users 5 GB of full‑speed data each day, after which the connection speed is reduced to 1024 kbps. The validity of these plans is tied to the number of days they are purchased for, so the data allowance is limited rather than unlimited.

If a traveler needs a larger, unrestricted data quantity, Kolet offers fixed data plans such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan or the 10 GB for 30 days plan, which provide a fixed amount of high‑speed data to be used within the specified validity window. These plans can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users compared with the day‑based “UNLIMITED” options.

Kolet does not provide a Switzerland eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIMs sold by Kolet for Switzerland are data‑only plans.

Travelers can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but some destinations may block or restrict these services; it is advisable to verify access to the apps you rely on in Switzerland before purchasing.

Kolet provides 13 single‑country plans for Switzerland, covering the country exclusively. In addition, 18 multi‑country plans also include Switzerland among their destinations. The single‑country offerings range from $3.99 to $65.40 USD, with data caps between 1 GB and 10 GB, and validity periods from one day up to one year. The multi‑country packages are available from $10.99 to $104.40 USD, offering data caps from 5 GB to 20 GB over similar validity windows. These figures give a broad overview of the available options for travelers.
