BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Uruguay

BNESIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Uruguay. The plan titled “Uruguay Unlimited 10 days” offers 3GB of high‑speed data each day for 10 days; after that limit the speed drops to 1000kbps. For travelers who need more data, BNESIM offers fixed data plans such as 100GB for 30 days or 50GB for 30 days, both available on 5G networks in Uruguay. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective unless a user requires continuous high‑speed data beyond the daily allowance.

BNESIM does not provide a Uruguay eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for Uruguay, so travelers cannot make or receive standard voice or SMS calls through the SIM. However, they can normally use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, though some destinations may block or restrict certain apps; travelers should verify that the services they need are accessible in Uruguay before purchasing.

BNESIM lists 13 separate single‑country data packages that cover Uruguay and 28 multi‑country packages that include Uruguay as part of a larger itinerary. The supplier’s catalog spans prices from just under six dollars for a single gigabyte up to $433 for a 100‑gigabyte package, with validity periods ranging from a single day to plans with no expiration. Most of the offerings are fixed data‑cap plans; only one plan provides a daily data cap, allowing users to choose between a pre‑determined data allotment or a day‑by‑day data allowance.
