Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Uruguay

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Uruguay. The plans labeled “Uruguay UNLIMITED” offer a fixed allowance of 5GB per day; once the daily quota is used, the speed drops to 1024 kbps. These are fixed data plans rather than unlimited high‑speed bundles.

If you need more data, Kolet offers fixed plans such as 20GB for 30 days or 10GB for 30 days, both available at 5G speeds for the full validity period. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless you expect to consume a very large amount of data.

Kolet does not provide an eSIM for Uruguay that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can purchase only data‑only eSIMs for this destination. They can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but some apps may be blocked or restricted in Uruguay, so users should verify access to the services they need before buying a plan.

Kolet provides 13 single‑country data plans and 10 multi‑country plans that can be used in Uruguay. The plans cover a price range from about $5.61 to $100.80 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Among the available options, 7 plans feature a daily data cap while 16 offer a fixed data amount, giving customers flexibility depending on whether they prefer a set amount of data for the entire validity period or a daily allowance.
