Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Albania

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM for Albania. Although some plans carry the name “UNLIMITED, ” each lists a hard limit of 5GB per day; after that limit the speed drops to 1024 kbps. A plan with “Unlimited” in its name does not mean unrestricted data.

For travelers seeking large data packages, Kolet offers fixed‑data eSIMs with higher allowances. Examples include the Albania 20GB for 30 days plan at $31.49 USD and the Albania UNLIMITED 10 days plan, which gives 5GB each day for a total of 50GB at a fixed price of $39.70 USD. These fixed‑data options are typically more cost‑effective for most users compared with the capped “UNLIMITED” packages.

Kolet does not offer Albania eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available for the destination.

If a traveler needs to communicate while in Albania, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can usually be used over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps required are accessible in Albania before buying a Kolet eSIM.

Kolet offers 13 single‑country plans and 18 multi‑country plans that are valid in Albania. The available plans range in price from about $3.99 to $104.40 USD and include data caps from 1 GB up to 20 GB. Some of the plans have a daily data cap, while others are fixed‑capacity plans that allow the full data amount to be used anytime during the validity period.
