AlpineSIM eSIM Data Plans for China

AlpineSIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China. All of its China‑specific plans have a hard data cap of 50GB.

Travelers who need a large data allowance can choose from AlpineSIM’s fixed data plans, such as the 50GB / 30 days plan priced at $35.69 USD or the 50GB / 180 days plan priced at $39.18 USD. These options offer 5G connectivity and tethering, and they can be more cost‑effective for most users unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.

AlpineSIM does not provide any China eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for China, so travelers cannot receive inbound calls or SMS messages on a local number. Those who need voice or messaging can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but availability of these apps can vary in China, so users should confirm that the services they rely on are accessible before purchasing.

AlpineSIM lists 58 single‑country data plans and 200 multi‑country data plans that include coverage for China. These plans span a price range from $0.29 to $296.92 USD and offer data caps between 100 MB and 50 GB, with validity periods ranging from one day up to one year. The single‑country plans provide a fixed amount of data for the entire duration, whereas the multi‑country plans distribute a daily data allowance across the travel period.
