Always Mobile eSIM Data Plans for China

There are no unlimited data eSIM options for China offered by Always Mobile. The provider’s plans for China are fixed‑data bundles with caps of 20GB or 50GB and validity periods of either 30 days or 180 days, all delivered on 5G through China Mobile. Travelers can also purchase a larger 50GB bundle that covers Hong Kong and Macau in addition to mainland China, but it remains a capped plan. For users who need more data than a fixed bundle provides, choosing one of these fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective unless they are extremely heavy data consumers, in which case they might consider a pay‑as‑you‑go alternative.

Always Mobile does not provide an eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability for China. Only data‑only plans are available for that destination. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, but the accessibility of these services may vary because of local restrictions, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you need are accessible in China before purchasing.

Always Mobile offers 8 single‑country data plans for China and 38 multi‑country plans that include China in their coverage. The single‑country plans usually provide a fixed data amount that is usable across the country for a specified validity period. The multi‑country plans may also have fixed data amounts, but some include a daily data cap that resets each day, giving travelers flexibility when moving between covered countries. Across all plans the price ranges from about $2.50 to $111.75, the data cap spans from 1 GB to 50 GB, and the validity period can be as short as seven days or extend up to 365 days.
