DashRoam eSIM Data Plans for China

DashRoam does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China.
The largest fixed data plan they offer in China is a 50GB bundle that can be used for 30 days or 180 days. For example, the China 50GB 30Days plan is priced at $42.90 USD, while the China 50GB 180Days plan costs $54.80 USD. These plans allow tethering and are available on 5G networks across the mainland. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a traveler requires an extremely high data volume.

DashRoam does not provide eSIM plans for China that include a phone number or SMS capability. All of its China offerings are data‑only plans, so travelers will not receive inbound or outbound SMS or normal phone service.

Instead, users can rely on internet‑based messaging and voice services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Be aware that some VoIP applications may be blocked or restricted in China, so it is advisable to confirm that the specific apps you need are accessible before purchasing a plan.

DashRoam provides 17 single‑country options and 48 multi‑country bundles that include China, with prices ranging from approximately $1.45 to $152.86 and data caps between 100 MB and 50 GB over validity periods of 7 to 365 days.
