EchoRoam eSIM Data Plans for China

EchoRoam does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China. The available options are fixed data plans, such as the 100GB plan valid for 60 days at $52.19 USD and the 50GB plans that range from 15 to 60 days of validity. These fixed plans allow tethering and cover mainland China (and, in one case, Hong Kong and Macau). Because they have a clear data cap, they can be more cost‑effective for travelers who do not exceed the allotted data volume.

EchoRoam does not provide a China eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for China.

Travelers can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but some destinations may block or restrict these services, so users should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in China before purchasing.

EchoRoam offers China exclusively through its single‑country data plans—part of the 26 single‑country packages that the provider makes available. The price range for these plans is approximately $2.85 to $112.09, while data caps vary from 1 GB up to 100 GB. Some packages allow tethering and, on certain options, a reduced speed threshold of 128 kbps may apply.
