eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. All plans listed under “Unlimited” or “Unlimited Plus” actually offer a fixed data allowance—between 1GB and 2GB per day—after which the speed is throttled to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps. For travelers needing more data at a predictable cost, eSIMCard offers large fixed plans, such as the 100 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 1 GB / day plans valid for 30 days, which can be combined with the country's 5G network coverage. If a user requires very high data usage, a fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective than the capped “Unlimited” offerings.
