eSimfly eSIM Data Plans for China

eSimfly does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans named “Asia Unlimited” or “China Unlimited” give 3GB of high‑speed data per day for the plan’s validity period, after which speed is reduced to 1000kbps, so the data is capped and not unlimited. Travelers who need a larger data allowance can choose from fixed data plans, such as Global 100GB 31 days for $68.07 or Global 50GB 31 days for $51.10, which provide up to the stated amount of high‑speed data before any throttling occurs.

eSimfly does not offer China eSIM plans that include a phone number with inbound or outbound voice or SMS capabilities. The provider sells only data‑only eSIMs for China.

Travelers who need to communicate over cellular can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in China before purchasing a plan.

eSimfly offers 16 single‑country plans that cover China only, and 40 multi‑country plans that include China as part of their larger regional package. The single‑country plans range in price from about $2.16 to $121.38 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 100 GB, with validity periods from a few days up to a year. The multi‑country plans cover a broader area, but share a similar pricing and data cap spectrum. Among the plans, 12 are structured with a daily data cap, meaning users receive a set amount of data each day for the plan’s validity, while the remaining 44 plans use a fixed data cap that is available for the entire duration of the plan, allowing users to access the full amount of data at any time during that period. This range of options lets travelers choose a plan that best fits their data needs and usage patterns while traveling in China and beyond.
