eSimpli eSIM Data Plans for China

eSimpli does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for China. The plans that carry an “Unlimited” name in the title actually offer a fixed amount of data – 1 GB per day for a limited period – and after that the speed is throttled to 1250 kbps.

For travelers who need more data, eSimpli offers several fixed data plans with higher allowances. Examples include the 20 GB plan for 30 days priced at $41.58 USD, the 10 GB plan for 30 days at $25.82 USD, and the 5 GB plan for 30 days at $19.07 USD. These plans provide a larger data budget without the speed reduction that occurs after the 1 GB/day limit.

eSimpli does not sell a China eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for China. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but some destinations may restrict or block specific apps or VoIP services. Therefore, users should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in China before purchasing.

eSimpli offers eight single‑country data plans that cover China, and five multi‑country plans that include China within their coverage. The plans available range in price from approximately $9 to $108 and provide data allowances from 1 GB to 20 GB, with validity periods between 5 and 30 days. Options are available as daily data caps—four distinct daily cap plans—and fixed data caps—nine fixed data cap plans. Many of the plans allow tethering and offer a reduced speed option at 1250 kbps.
