Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for China

Hungry eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name are fixed‑data plans that allow a set amount of high‑speed data each day; once the daily cap is reached the speed is throttled to a lower rate (for example 512 kbps, 1 Mbps, 384 kbps, or 128 kbps).

Travelers who need more data can choose from Hungry eSIM’s fixed data plans, such as the 50 GB 30‑day plan, the 20 GB 30‑day plan, or the 50 GB 180‑day plan. These plans offer a larger, unthrottled data allowance for the specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Hungry eSIM does not provide China eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capabilities. Their China offerings are data‑only plans, so travelers need to rely on internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. However, some destinations may have restrictions on these services, so users should confirm that the apps they need work in China before buying.

Hungry eSIM offers both single‑country and multi‑country data plans that include China.
Among the single‑country options, there are 12 plans that cover China alone, while the provider also offers 57 multi‑country plans that encompass China along with other destinations.

The plans vary in data allocation—from a modest 500 MB to a large 50 GB cap—and in price, ranging from roughly $2.09 to $179.36 USD. Some plans provide a fixed data amount, while others allow daily data usage limits, giving travelers flexibility depending on their needs.
