nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans that contain the word “Unlimited” in their names offer a fixed high‑speed data allowance of 1GB or 2GB for a set validity period; once the allowance is exhausted, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps respectively.

If a user needs a larger quantity of high‑speed data, nextSIM offers fixed‑data plans such as the 20GB Economy plan valid for 30 days at $28.59 USD or the 50GB Premium plan valid for 30 days at $1, 280.65 USD, both available for use on 5G networks in China.

nextSIM does not provide a China eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for China, so there is no option to receive voice calls or text messages through the local network.

Travelers who need to stay in touch can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. These apps allow voice calls and messaging without requiring a traditional phone number or SMS service.
