RedSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” give 3 GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle the connection to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the day, so they are fixed‑data plans with a daily cap rather than unlimited plans.

If a traveler needs more data, RedSim offers fixed data plans that provide larger allowances, such as the China 20 GB 30 days plan or the China 50 GB 30 days plan. These plans give a set amount of high‑speed data for 30 days and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they are extremely heavy data consumers.

RedSim does not provide a China eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for China.

Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging.
