RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for China

RoamGo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans listed under “Global Unlimited” give a fixed amount of high‑speed data each day (1 GB/day or 2 GB/day) and then throttle the connection to 384 kbps after that daily allowance is used. This throttling applies for the duration of the plan’s validity, which ranges from 3 days to 30 days.

Travelers who need more high‑speed data should consider RoamGo’s fixed data plans, such as the 50 GB 30‑day package for China or the 20 GB 30‑day package, both of which provide substantial data at full speed for the plan’s validity period. These options are cost‑effective for most users unless extremely heavy data consumption is anticipated.

RoamGo does not provide a China eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for China.

Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some of these services may be blocked or restricted in China, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible before purchasing a plan.

The dataset provided does not include a breakdown of RoamGo plans by country, so the exact number of single‑country and multi‑country data plans available for China cannot be determined from the available information.
