SimBalkan eSIM Data Plans for China

SimBalkan does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data, specifically 1 GB per day for the duration of the plan, after which the speed is reduced. For travelers who need more data, SimBalkan offers fixed data plans such as 30 GB for 30 days, 20 GB for 30 days, or 10 GB for 30 days, all available on 5G networks in China. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users unless a very heavy data consumption is expected.

SimBalkan does not provide any eSIM plan for China that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for that destination, so travelers who need a local phone number or the ability to send text messages will not be able to purchase a SimBalkan plan that offers these services.

Travelers who require voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection provided by the eSIM. However, some services may be restricted or blocked in China, so users should confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in the country before purchasing a SimBalkan eSIM.

SimBalkan offers a total of 19 data plans that cover China, split into 14 single‑country plans and 5 multi‑country plans. The available plans range from $3.33 to $51.57 and include data caps of 1 GB up to 30 GB, with validity periods between 1 and 30 days. Some plans provide a fixed data amount, while others operate on a daily data‑cap basis.
