Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for China

Sim Local does not offer a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for China. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name are fixed‑data offers that provide 5GB or 10GB of high‑speed data per day; once this amount is reached the speed is reduced.

For travelers who need more data, Sim Local provides fixed data bundles such as the 20GB plans valid for 31 days or 30 days, the 100GB plan valid for 31 days, and other large‑capacity options. These fixed plans give a larger total data allowance over a set validity period, which can be more cost‑effective for high‑usage travelers.

Sim Local does not offer any China eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only sells data‑only plans for the destination of China. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should check that these apps are accessible in China before purchasing a plan.

Sim Local offers nine single‑country data plans for China and an additional nine multi‑country plans that include China in their coverage. The price of these plans ranges from about $4.00 to $93.50, while the data caps vary between 1 GB and 100 GB per plan. Plans are available in two main types: fixed data‑cap plans that deliver a set amount of data for the entire validity period, and daily‑data‑cap plans that limit the amount of data you can use each day, giving travelers more predictable spending during their stay.
