Skratch does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for China. Although several plans carry “Unlimited” in their name, they provide 2 GB per day of high‑speed data and apply a reduced speed after that daily limit is reached. For travellers who need a larger amount of data, Skratch offers fixed data plans such as the China 50GB 30d plan and the China 20GB 30d plan, which give a set amount of data over a 30‑day validity window. These fixed‑data options may be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Skratch does not provide China eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers to China can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Skratch. As an alternative, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages. These services may be restricted or blocked in some destinations, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are available in China before buying a plan.

Among these, 24 plans impose a daily data cap while 22 offer a fixed data amount.
