Stixrs does not provide a genuinely unlimited eSIM for China. The plans marketed with “Unlimited” in the name actually have capped data amounts, ranging from 1GB up to 10GB, and each is valid for only one day; once the cap is reached, the speed is reduced to 1 000 kbps.

If more data is needed, Stixrs offers fixed‑data plans such as 50 GB for 30 days or 50 GB for 180 days. These plans give the same high‑speed network access throughout the validity period without the throttling that occurs after a capped amount is exhausted.

Stixrs does not offer any China eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only obtain a data‑only eSIM from Stixrs for use in China. For voice and text communication, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can normally be used over the data connection, but access to these services is not guaranteed and may be limited in China. It is advisable to check that the apps required for a traveller’s communications needs are accessible in China before purchasing a Stixrs eSIM.
