Travelsim Asia eSIM Data Plans for China

Travelsim Asia does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China. All of its China‑specific plans are fixed‑data bundles with hard limits of 20 GB or 10 GB that must be used within a 30‑day period. For travelers who need a large data allowance, fixed bundles such as the 20 GB plan (30 days, $17.99 USD) or the 10 GB plan (30 days, $11.99 USD) can be a more cost‑effective choice unless an extremely heavy data user requires a truly unlimited option.

Travelsim Asia does not provide an eSIM plan for China that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for China, so travelers cannot receive or make calls and text messages in China through the eSIM.

Instead, travelers can use data‑driven services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to communicate while in China, though availability of these apps may vary depending on local restrictions. It is advisable to confirm that the VoIP or messaging apps you rely on can be accessed in China before purchasing a plan.

Travelsim Asia offers a range of plans that cover China. There are five single‑country plans specifically for China and six multi‑country plans that include China among other destinations. The packages span a price range from $2.99 to $80.00 and provide data allocations between 1 GB and 20 GB, valid for seven to thirty days. Some plans also allow tethering, enabling data sharing across multiple devices.
