Travelsim Asia does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China. All of its China‑specific plans have fixed data caps, such as the China Mainland 20GB plan for $17.99 USD and 30 days, or the Asia‑12 country pack that also offers 20GB for 30 days at $64.99 USD. These plans illustrate the large data allowances available, although they represent only a subset of the full range of fixed‑data options. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless a very heavy data consumer requires an unlimited plan.

Travelsim Asia does not provide an eSIM plan for China that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for China, so travelers cannot receive or make calls and text messages in China through the eSIM.

Instead, travelers can use data‑driven services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage to communicate while in China, though availability of these apps may vary depending on local restrictions.
