yaySIM eSIM Data Plans for China

No, yaySIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for China. All of the plans listed for China have a data cap of 50GB. For example, the CN_50_30 plan offers 50GB for 30 days, and the CN_50_180 plan offers the same 50GB for 180 days. Other fixed data plans such as CN-3_50_30 and CN-3_50_180 also provide 50GB, but they cover China plus two additional countries.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who would benefit from a truly unlimited plan. The available 50GB options give a clear, predictable data allowance within the specified validity period.

Yes, yaySIM does not provide eSIM plans for China that include a phone number or SMS service. Their offerings for China are data‑only, meaning users can connect to the internet but cannot send or receive phone calls or text messages using a local Chinese number.

Travelers who need voice or messaging may rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may limit or block access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you plan to use are available in China before purchasing a plan.

yaySIM provides 15 single‑country data plans and 67 multi‑country plans that include China. Prices for these plans range from about $2.18 to $132.68, while data caps span from 102 MB up to 50 GB. Validity periods vary from a single day to a full year, offering a broad selection of options for travelers needing connectivity in China.
